		<description>I agree that TIPs are an excellent investment. Right now, people are more worried about de-leveraging and deflation. But the government&#039;s (perhaps necessary) measures to pump liquidity into the economy will eventually come back to haunt us, and there will be lots of funny money chasing relatively few goods. So now, while inflation protected securities are depressed, is an ideal time to buy them.

Not so sure about the &quot;spend &#039;til the end&quot; concept. What if you miscalculate? And what about your heirs?</description>
